The Fagerhult story began in 1945 when our founder, an engineer called Bertil Svensson, created a lamp so that his mother could keep knitting during the long, dark, Nordic winter nights. A simple tale that provided the basis of over 75 years’ worth of lighting developments.

As the industry and technology have evolved, the Fagerhult Group has increasingly looked outside of Scandinavia, being joined by brands that share the same ethos but bring new approaches and technical expertise.

In the UK, Fagerhult provide lighting solutions from ateljé Lyktan, LTS, WE-EF and LED Linear. From exterior, linear and bespoke to integrated, decorative and general lighting, we can support our customers not only with a simple, single point of contact but with access to a wide range of industry-leading luminaires and control systems.
